Main Requirements
- Conduct advanced independent research within the scope of the DIVREP project.
- Produce research of an internationally excellent standard.
- Contribute to the academic life of the interdisciplinary research team and the Department of Sociology.
- Conduct research related to fertility, reproductive behavior, and within-country disparities in reproduction.
- Contribute to research examining variation in childbearing age and fertility levels across more than 120 countries.
- Examine global patterns and long-term trends in disparities in reproductive behavior.
- Study micro- and macro-level determinants of reproductive variation, including educational level, income inequality, and gender inequality.
- Work with demographic datasets including the Demographic and Health Surveys, Generations and Gender Survey, International Public Use Microdata Series, and Human Fertility Database, among others.
- Link demographic data with databases containing information on social and economic development and inequality.
