Overview

  • To deliver/exceed the planned volume, revenue and profit targets for the business within the allocated accounts.
  • All aspects of customer development and management within the allocated channel.

Tasks

  • Develop robust, action orientated plans for the allocated accounts that are aligned across the business.
  • Build strong, professional relationships that can be leveraged to gain commitment to the proposed plans.
  • Undertake an annual business review with the customer that involves all relevant personnel, reviews what has worked and presents the year ahead at a strategic level.
  • Gain commitment from key customer decision makers to the account plan initially and on an ongoing basis.
  • Ensure that customer pricing is equitable, based on principles and that any changes are based upon an objective business case.
  • Issue a quarterly report covering customer performance versus target, implementation of the account plan and the outlook for the balance of the year.
  • Own and deliver performance objectives.
  • Demonstrate leadership and motivate team and peers.

Profile

  • Broad based technical and business knowledge of the bathroom products industry, including experience working with Wholesalers, Distributors and Retailers.
  • Track record in identifying and building channel opportunities.
  • Experience of presenting business plans to senior leadership: gaining buy-in backing.
  • Advanced, pro-active networking and relationship building capability.
  • Working collaboratively to develop and negotiate agreements/quotations, proposals and contracts.
  • Sales experience and track record of business development, winning business.
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial, hands-on attitude to ‘getting the job done’.
  • Collaborative skills, possessing the capacity for analytical thinking and an attention to detail.
