Ideal Recruit is pleased to offer a permanent, full-time opportunity for Class 2 (LGV C) drivers in the Bolton area. This is stable, year-round employment with consistent work on a 5 shifts per week - will include some weekends on a rota basis. You will be working with a well-established and reputable company based in Bolton. This role is ideal for reliable drivers looking for long-term, secure employment with regular hours and competitive pay.
Pay rate (PAYE):
- Days: £13.49 per hour.
- Nights: £14.91 per hour.
Available shifts:
- Nights: Friday, Saturday and Sunday with starting time 20:00 or 22:00
- Twilight: Monday to Friday with starting time 14:00
- Morning: Saturday and Sunday with starting times (Saturday 06:00 and Sunday 04:00)
Key responsibilities:
- HGV Class 2 driving, safely delivering parcels to a Delivery Unit
- Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of vehicles
- Keeping paperwork updated and accurate
Candidate requirements:
- HGV Class 2 driving entitlement (category C).
- Valid Driver's CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
- 6 months of experience as a class 2 driver.
- No more than 6 points for minor endorsements.
- Complete onsite assessment.
