Ideal Recruit is currently looking for HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a well-established client based in Wakefield. The role will include deliveries to their stores across the UK with an average of 2-3 drops of caged goods and some collections.
Pay and Working Hours
- Rates of Pay: PAYE. In addition to the rates, you accrue holiday pay.
- The rate applies for the first 12 weeks. After 12 weeks, the rate will increase, and it will increase again after 27 weeks.
- Day rate £16.50 p/h between 06:00-13:59 (from 14:00, afternoon rate applies). Overtime after 45 hours £23.42 p/h
- Afternoon rate £17.39 p/h between 14:00-21:59 (from 22:00, night rate applies). Overtime after 45 hours £24.31 p/h
- Night rate £18.82 p/h between 22:00-05:59 (from 06:00, day rate applies). Overtime after 45 hours £25.74 p/h
Additional Information
- Paid assessment is required.
- Fully paid breaks.
- Shift availability: Days / Afternoons / Nights - shifts from Monday to Sunday.
Qualifications
- HGV Class 1 driving entitlement (category CE)
- At least 6 months of experience as a Class 1 driver
- Experience of driving refrigerator unit preferred.
- Valid Driver's CPC card and Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 points for minor endorsements
