Ideal Recruit is currently looking for experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a well-established client based in Bedford. This is a full-time opportunity with guaranteed shifts and consistent work.
Nationwide store deliveries across the UK. Average of 3-4 drops per shift (palletised goods - loading and unloading required). Experience with refrigerated units preferred.
We have both Permanent and long-term agency positions available, on the following shift patterns:
- PERMANENT OR AGENCY - 4 ON, 4 OFF TRAMPING (Start Window between 01:00-02:00 OR 11:00-12:00)
- PERMANENT OR AGENCY - Sun-Thu, Tue-Sat or Thu/Fri-Mon (2 hour start window between 01:00-18:00)
Permanent Pay Rates:
- Monday-Friday £18.69ph
- Weekend £21.31ph
- Plus £10.00 tax free meal allowance per day
- £26.20 night out allowance
- Monday to Friday: £19.61ph (or £21.98 inc holiday)
- Saturday and Sunday: £22.31ph (or £25.00 inc holiday)
- £26.20 night out allowance
Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence. Minimum 12 months of experience as a Class 1 driver. Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
