Ideal Recruit is currently recruiting Class 1 Shunter Drivers for a well-established client based in Warrington.
Job Role:
- Safely moving trailers and vehicles around the yard
- Coupling and uncoupling trailers
- Positioning vehicles at loading bays
- Carrying out basic vehicle checks
- Ensuring all movements are completed safely and efficiently
- Following site safety rules and procedures at all times
Candidate Requirements:
- Hold a valid UK driving licence (HGV licence preferred but not essential, depending on site)
- Have previous shunter or yard experience (preferred)
- Be confident manoeuvring vehicles in a busy yard environment
- Have a good understanding of health & safety
- Be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Pay: Competitive PAYE rates Days £16.15 and Nights £17.40. In addition, you will accrue holiday pay.
