Up to £28.30 p/h with Overtime Guaranteed shifts, consistent trunking work, and a £10 daily meal allowance. Ideal Recruit is recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a well-established client based in Runcorn. This is a full-time, ongoing role offering genuine stability and strong earning potential, a solid option for drivers who want consistent hours without the uncertainty of ad-hoc agency work.

The Role:

  • Mainly trunking work, with nationwide store deliveries across the UK
  • Start time window between 13:00 and 15:00, 7 days a week
  • Predictable shift pattern – know your start window in advance

PAYE Pay Rates:

  • Monday–Friday: £17.80 p/h or (£19.94 inc. holiday)
  • Weekend: £20.20 p/h or (£22.63 inc. holiday)
  • Overtime (after 45 hours/week or 9+ hours in a day):
    • Monday–Friday overtime: £24.94 p/h inc. holiday
    • Weekend overtime: £28.30 p/h inc. holiday

Plus: £10.00 tax-free meal allowance per day, on top of your pay.
