Ideal Recruit is currently recruiting for Paint Plant Operatives to join our client based in DN8.

Contract: Temp-to-Perm

Shifts: Candidates must be flexible and available to work Days, Afters and Nights.

Pay Rates:

  • Days: £12.71 per hour | Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm
  • Afters: £14.12 per hour | Monday–Thursday, 2:00pm–11:00pm
  • Nights: £16.95 per hour | Monday–Thursday, 11:00pm–5:00am

Job Description:

As a Paint Plant Operative, your responsibilities will include:

  • Hanging aluminium parts onto the production line.
  • Preparing parts by taping, bunging and cleaning where required.
  • Supporting colour changes between different parts.
  • Cleaning the paint booth ready for the next colour process.
  • Identifying any product quality issues and carrying out re-tapping where required.
  • Finishing products to a high-quality standard in line with the Golden Sample.
  • Preparing and packing finished parts ready for despatch.
  • Ensuring visual aids are checked before completing each process.
  • Keeping your working area clean, organised and compliant with Health & Safety requirements.
  • Ensuring machinery, tooling and equipment are used safely and efficiently and remain in their designated areas.
  • Reporting any incorrect or inappropriate activity to a member of the SMT.
  • Working closely with the Line Supervisor and wider team.
  • Following all Health & Safety requirements to protect yourself and others.
  • Carrying out any other reasonable duties requested by the Line Manager.
