The Results People are recruiting for a Stock, IT & Systems Controller to join a successful and growing e-commerce business for our client based in Liverpool L30 area.

Shifts & Pay rates: Monday to Friday 8:00-16:00 £15.38/hour

We are looking for a highly organised, analytical and technically confident individual who can take ownership of stock accuracy, business systems and day-to-day IT support. This is a varied, hands-on position and would suit someone with a strong stock/inventory background who is also confident working with systems, data and workplace technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate stock records and investigate discrepancies and variances.
  • Complete stock checks, cycle counts and reconciliations.
  • Monitor stock movements, transfers, returns and adjustments.
  • Produce stock reports and identify the causes of stock inaccuracies.
  • Support and maintain stock, ERP/WMS and other business systems.
  • Investigate system errors, data issues and process failures.
  • Provide first-line IT support for computers, printers, scanners, software and user access.
  • Set up equipment and system access for new starters.
  • Liaise with external IT and software providers where required.
  • Identify opportunities to improve or automate stock and system processes.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in stock control, inventory management or a similar position.
  • Experience using ERP, WMS, inventory or stock management systems.
  • Strong general IT knowledge and confidence troubleshooting basic hardware and software issues.
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to investigate and resolve stock and system discrepancies.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload.
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach.
  • Previous experience within e-commerce, retail, warehousing or distribution would be advantageous.
