Ideal Recruit is currently recruiting Class 1 Shunter Drivers for a well-established client based in Warrington.
Job Role:
- Safely moving trailers and vehicles around the yard.
- Coupling and uncoupling trailers.
- Positioning vehicles at loading bays.
- Carrying out basic vehicle checks.
- Ensuring all movements are completed safely and efficiently.
- Following site safety rules and procedures at all times.
Candidate Requirements:
- Hold a valid UK driving licence C+E.
- Have previous shunter or yard experience (preferred).
- Be confident manoeuvring vehicles in a busy yard environment.
- Have a good understanding of health & safety.
- Be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Pay Rates (PAYE-holiday pay included in rate):
- Monday to Friday - Day £18.09 / Night £19.50 per hour.
- Saturday & Sunday - Day £20.90 / Night £22.00 per hour.
