Overview
FLT Counterbalance Driver
Location: Liverpool/Huyton
Shifts: 08:00-16:30 Monday to Friday
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour – weekly pay
Responsibilities
- Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently in line with company and site safety procedures.
- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring accuracy and care with all palletised goods.
- Move pallets and materials around the site, ensuring items are stored correctly.
- Follow all health & safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Carry out general warehouse duties as required, including manual handling.
Experience and Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (RTITB / ITSSAR accredited or equivalent).
- Proven experience operating a Counterbalance FLT in a fast-paced warehouse or yard environment.
- Good understanding of health & safety regulations.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Flexible, reliable, and able to work under pressure.
- Previous experience handling pallets, timber, or similar products is desirable but not essential.
