Ideal Recruit are looking for an organised and reliable FLT Warehouse Operative to join our warehouse team. This is a hands-on role involving the day-to-day operation of a busy warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing customer orders, operating a forklift, loading and unloading vehicles and containers, and ensuring the warehouse remains safe, clean and well organised.
Pay and shift: 09:00-17:00 £14.95 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Driving a forklift safely and efficiently.
- Preparing and picking daily customer orders.
- Printing and processing daily order paperwork.
- Packing customer orders securely onto pallets.
- Loading artic wagons.
- Unloading 40ft High Cube (40HC) containers via a loading ramp.
- Assisting with general loading and unloading duties.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised warehouse.
- Following all health and safety procedures.
About You
- Hold a valid forklift truck (FLT) licence (preferred).
- Have previous warehouse experience.
- Be organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Communicate effectively and work well as part of a team.
- Have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Be reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high standards.
