Ideal Recruit has an exciting opportunity to join the airline catering team of our client based at Manchester Airport. We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Assistant to support operations in the dishwashing area. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all food equipment is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised in line with industry standards for in-flight supplies. Shift Patterns: 07:00–15:30 (4 on, 2 off) – £12.21/h 10:00–18:30 (4 on, 2 off) – £12.21/h Key Responsibilities: Strip incoming carts of unused food and equipment Segregate and load items into commercial dishwashers Ensure all items are cleaned thoroughly and safely Remove rubbish and waste efficiently Maintain a clean and hygienic dishwashing area at all times Work effectively as part of a team to meet operational targets Follow health and safety procedures, including proper handling of cleaning agents Monitor the cleanliness of equipment, ensuring all items meet hygiene standards Report any equipment faults or safety concerns to management Comply with all security and hygiene regulations specific to in-flight supplies Requirements: High attention to detail and ability to work efficiently Team player with good communication skills Understanding of the importance of hygiene and security in the aviation industry Physical stamina for lifting and moving equipment Full training provided What We Offer: Free lunch daily Three free breakfasts per week Unlimited tea and coffee Refreshments, including croissants, water, and juice Interested?
