Ideal Recruit is currently recruiting for CNC Machine Operatives to join our client based in DN8.
Contract: Temp-to-Perm Starting Pay: From £12.71 per hour Shifts: Days, Afters and Nights
Candidates must be flexible and available to work across the required shift patterns.
Job Description
As a CNC Machine Operative, your responsibilities will include
Drilling, tapping and turning aluminium parts.
Preparing and packing finished parts ready for despatch.
Identifying any product quality issues or deviations from product specifications.
Meeting production schedule targets and all relevant KPIs for the role and department.
Ensuring your working area is maintained to a satisfactory standard and complies with Health & Safety requirements.
Ensuring all equipment remains in its designated area.
Reporting any incorrect or inappropriate activity to the Team Leader or a member of the SMT.
Being aware of your Health & Safety responsibilities and those of others.
Working closely with the Team Leader and wider team.
Finishing products to a high-quality standard and ensuring they meet the Golden Sample.
Checking visual aids before completing each process.
Ensuring the safe and efficient use and control of machinery, tooling and equipment.
Supporting the team in meeting production targets and departmental KPIs.
Carrying out any other reasonable duties requested by the Team Leader.

The successful candidate will be
Flexible and able to adapt to changing demands.
Punctual, reliable and trustworthy.
Willing to undertake any training relevant to the role.
Able to manage their time effectively.
Able to use their own initiative and work without supervision while also being part of a team.
Self-motivated and highly driven.
Engineering experience is desirable.
