The Results People are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for one of our clients based in Alfreton/South Normanton.

This is a great opportunity for newly qualified Class 2 drivers looking to gain valuable experience and secure long-term, stable employment with regular work.

The Role:

  • Multi-drop deliveries of building supplies
  • Curtain Sider vehicles
  • Loading and unloading is mainly carried out by FLT
  • Some handballing may be required when necessary
  • Start times between 02:00 and 06:00
  • Drivers willing to do nights out would be at an advantage
  • A 1-hour driving assessment must be completed before the first shift, including a drive with an assessor.

PAYE Pay Rates:

  • Monday to Saturday: £16.95 per hour
  • Sunday: £18.95 per hour

Holiday entitlement will be accrued during employment.

Candidate Requirements:

  • HGV Class 2 driving entitlement (Category C)
  • Valid Driver CPC Card
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than 6 points for minor endorsements
  • Must successfully complete an onsite driving assessment
