Ideal Recruit is currently looking for HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a well-established client based in Wakefield. The role will include deliveries to their stores across the UK with an average of 2-3 drops of caged goods and some collections.
Rates of Pay: PAYE. In addition to the rates, you accrue holiday pay. The rate applies for the first 12 weeks. After 12 weeks, the rate will increase, and it will increase again after 27 weeks.
- Day rate: £16.50 p/h between 06:00-13:59 (from 14:00 afternoon rate applies).
- Afternoon rate: £17.39 p/h between 14:00-21:59 (from 22:00 night rate applies).
- Night rate: £18.82 p/h between 22:00-05:59 (from 06:00 day rate applies).
Overtime after 45 hours:
- £23.42 p/h for Day rate
- £24.31 p/h for Afternoon rate
- £25.74 p/h for Night rate

Additional Information: Paid assessment is required. Fully paid breaks. Shift availability: Days / Afternoons / Nights - shifts from Monday to Sunday.
You will need to meet the below criteria to be considered for the vacancy:
- HGV Class 1 driving entitlement (category CE)
- At least 6 months of experience as a class 1 driver
- Experience of driving refrigerator unit preferred.
- Valid Driver's CPC card and Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 points for minor endorsements
