Full time, Permanent – Milton Keynes. Salary: £45,000 per annum plus £4,800 car allowance. Ref No: IPRS7527. Our client has a permanent opportunity for an Installations Project Manager. The role is office based, Monday to Friday working 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

As a Project Manager you will oversee the day‑to‑day management of key customer accounts, maintain strong relationships, and lead the project team. Your expertise will ensure the successful execution of projects from start to finish, meeting deadlines, staying within budget, and delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management – serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring all project KPIs are met and maintaining high levels of satisfaction.
  • Risk & Change Management – manage risks and changes to project scope, create Statements of Work, and oversee change control processes.
  • Cost Control – ensure efficient cost management, reviewing profit and loss accounts to maximize profitability.
  • Billing & Invoicing – oversee daily invoicing and billing to clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Project Reporting – prepare and present documents for Project Review meetings, providing insights to key stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership – lead and develop the project team, conducting regular 1:1s and identifying training opportunities to enhance skills and performance.
  • Troubleshooting & Escalation – act as the escalation point for any on‑site issues, providing solutions to potential challenges.
  • Project Coordination – manage multiple projects and teams, ensuring smooth operations and successful outcomes.
  • Field Resource Management – build and maintain strong relationships with field resources and support resource forecasting.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration – maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring collaboration across teams for efficient project delivery.
Requirements
  • Industry Experience – experience in the hospitality or retail sector is desirable (but not essential).
  • Project Management Experience – proven ability to lead projects and teams, with a strong focus on delivering results on time and within budget.
  • Financial Acumen – strong experience in managing project budgets, with a keen eye for financial details and commercial awareness.
  • Problem Solving – ability to manage and resolve issues under pressure, ensuring critical deadlines are met.
  • Leadership Skills – experience managing both internal and external teams, with a focus on skill development and team performance.
  • IT Proficiency – strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of IT data and networking is desirable (but not essential).
  • Other Requirements – a valid UK full driving licence, flexibility to travel, and a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.
