Our client has a vacancy for an Employment Solicitor. The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate their organisational skills, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure in a team environment while managing client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and ensure maintenance of work and fee income targets
- Report on performance
- Liaise with clients both in person or remote meetings and in telephone discussions
- Receiving and issuing correspondence / mail from / to the client, agents on behalf of the client and third parties
- Time recording all work undertaken
- Attending on outside appointments to include court hearings, client visits etc. as required
- Areas of work to include Employment and general Advice
- Acting on instruction of and reporting to the Head of Employment and Head of Business Services
- Generate new work for department and firm
- Attendance at required training courses
- Supporting the Firm with brand awareness activities, including networking, events and content for the website and social media channels
Required Skills and Experience
- Qualified Solicitor
- Adherence to Quality and Work Management Systems
- Achievement of Targets
- Development of departmental staff
- To maintain Lexcel accreditation including completion of file reviews and CAR's
- Flexibility in support of other members of staff
