My client has a requirement for an experienced conveyancer to join their team on a part-time basis. This would be ideal if you want school hours as we are looking for around 22.5 hours per week over 5 days (Monday to Friday). You will be responsible for your own caseload of residential property and it is therefore essential that you are used to operating at this level.
Specific Responsibilities
- To ensure that all client work is progressed expeditiously and that the client is kept regularly informed on progress and on costs.
- To deliver up-to-date legal advice to clients, that takes account of the commercial pressures on clients.
- To give clients “value for money”, and to participate in ensuring that the firm plans to transact work that maintains and improves profitability.
- To achieve agreed levels of billing and time recording.
- To participate in the marketing of the firm.
- To answer telephone calls quickly and to deal quickly with messages.
- To set up and maintain an efficient system of diary management.
- To deal quickly with correspondence and to maintain regular contact with clients on current cases.
- To operate a work flow package.
- To provide a quality responsive Conveyancing service.
