Our client has a full-time, permanent vacancy for an Administrator to join their busy purchasing team. The role is suitable for candidates with advanced Excel skills, including handling and manipulating data, creating formulas, generating tables, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing and placement of purchase orders
  • Monitoring delivery and shipping information; ensuring all shipping documents are accurate and complete before dispatch
  • Updating order status on internal and supplier systems; maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing, dates, and other important data
  • Providing general administrative support to the purchasing department
  • Communicating with suppliers and other departments

Requirements

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Accurate and methodical approach to work
  • Strong team player and confident communicator (in person, phone, email)
  • Experience in administrative or supply chain roles is highly desirable
