Our client has a vacancy for a Commercial Solicitor. The team deals with a wide range of clients including SMEs, entrepreneurs, family-owned businesses, and charitable and not-for-profit organisations. They provide a wide range of services including advising on the sale and purchase of businesses and companies, preparing and advising on shareholder agreements, advising directors and trustees on corporate and charity governance, and preparing and advising on a variety of commercial agreements for use in day-to-day business.

You will have a varied case load of running client matters including:

  • Commercial agreements.
  • Supply of goods and services agreements.
  • Distribution agreements.
  • Franchise agreements.
  • General commercial contracts advice.

This role is best suited to a solicitor with a minimum of 3 years’ experience. However, less experienced candidates who can evidence they have the skills and qualities required will certainly be considered. The successful candidate will be able to manage their own case load whilst assisting other fee-earners and partners in providing advice to the firm’s clients. The candidate must have excellent communication and IT skills and the ability to develop positive relationships with a strong focus on marketing and networking for business development.
