Our client has a permanent vacancy for a Key Accounts Sales Consultant. Your primary focus will be to drive business growth within the machine and device manufacturing sector. In this ‘win team’ role, you will be responsible for identifying and winning new strategic accounts.
You will take ownership of the entire sales cycle, engaging directly with senior management, supply chain professionals, and engineers at prospective clients. By understanding their technical and commercial requirements, you will design tailored proposals that meet their objectives and showcase the advantages of our automation and fluid control solutions.
Your responsibilities will centre on proactively seeking and securing new business opportunities, winning over high-potential accounts, and laying the foundation for enduring client partnerships. You will be expected to develop and implement strategic sales plans, articulate the company’s value propositions, and deliver exceptional service and support.
To excel in this role, you will need a blend of technical expertise, persuasive communication, and a strong results orientation. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of your sales activities, using their CRM system. Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Develop sales by understanding customer needs and building strong relationships. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Company’s target accounts.
Skills and Experience:
- Ideally, we are looking for candidates who possess both technical expertise in automation and proven key account sales experience.
- An engineering-based technical qualification is highly desirable, alongside a strong track record in sales within related industries.
- You must have a current driving licence as a company car is provided.
- You will need a current passport for planned occasional European and international travel.
