The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
Due to growth and their continued investment in people, our client is on the hunt for a Paralegal/ SQE Trainee for their vibrant and successful Residential Conveyancing Team. They want you to train there, to qualify there… and to stay there!
You will be dynamic, driven with a passion for; and experience within conveyancing. You’ll be handling sales, purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity and new build transactions for domestic properties. You will have an abundance of client care skills, the ability to prioritise effectively and a desire to build your career at our award-winning firm.
In return, you will receive a fully funded SQE upon passing probation (conditions apply), plenty of peers to support and guide you, including 2 Partners and 3 Associates within the Residential Conveyancing Team; as well as wider support from the firm. If the SQE is not for you, or not for you yet, the paralegal role very much remains, so they will work out something that works for all. Stick with them, and you can expect a long career full of progression, variety, and impact.
The role:
- Supporting a senior conveyancer
- Dealing with initial paperwork
- Issuing draft contracts
- Dealing with enquiries and managing sale files
- Ordering and checking routine property searches
- Experience of title checking preferred but not essential
- Setting up matters for completion
- General administration
- Checking mortgage offers
- Dealing directly with clients, estate agents and lenders
- Supporting other members of the team whenever possible
- Post completion
Requirements:
You will have the ability to confidently manage your own workload, prioritise effectively, have excellent communication skills and be a team player. Previous residential conveyancing experience and the ability to work within a busy team is essential. Excellent business development skills are desirable, as well as strong organisational skills.
