Due to an increase in business, our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join their small, friendly team.
On a Day-to-day Basis You Will:
- Assist with quotes and set up files for new conveyancing matters
- Issue clients with necessary forms and assist with their completion
- Apply for searches
- Deal with enquiries on sales and purchasing matters
- Diarise and chase matters as necessary
- Use the Land Registry portal to obtain Land Registry documents and Title Deeds as applicable
- Provide professional telephone support and email support to clients
- Work with third parties including solicitors, estate agents and lenders to progress matters
- Take/request payments from clients
- Prepare accounts for all receipts and payments
- Prepare files for exchange of contracts
- Prepare files for completion
- Deal with post completion matters
- Keep the case management system up to date
- Keep physical files up to date
We are looking for candidates who have been working in a conveyancing team for a minimum of one year.
