Job Title: Part-Time Nanny
Location: South Kensington, London
Start Date: September or October
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
Hours: Thursday 9:30am–7:30pm and Friday 9:30am–7:30pm, with flexibility on Fridays to cover occasional evenings. The family would also like someone open to working one weekend day, Saturday, or Sunday, every 4–6 weeks.
Job Overview:
A busy young family based in South Kensington is seeking a proactive Part-Time Nanny to care for their young son, born November 2025. The family already employs another nanny who works Monday to Wednesday. The mother works from home, so the role will suit a team player who is happy to work collaboratively, while also being confident taking sole charge. The family have a holiday home in Sardinia and would love someone to travel with them if they are able to.
Responsibilities:

• Managing the child’s day-to-day routine, including feeding, sleep and hygiene.
• Supporting the child’s developmental milestones.
• Planning and providing engaging, age-appropriate activities, including sensory play, cooking activities and educational outings.
• Keeping the child’s play areas and bedroom tidy.
• Managing the child’s laundry.
• Packing and unpacking the child’s belongings for travel.
• Accompanying the family on occasional UK and international trips, if agreed.
• Managing child-related logistics while travelling.
• Working as a team player within the household, including helping with small household tasks such as loading or emptying the dishwasher or assisting with occasional returns.

Ideal Nanny:

• Experienced caring for babies and young children.
• Confident working alongside a parent who works from home, as well as taking sole charge.
• Proactive, intuitive and able to read the room, knowing when to step in and when to step back.
• Discreet, organised and able to stay ahead of what needs doing.
• Italian speaker preferred but not essential; French or Spanish also considered.
• Confident swimmer.
• Driver comfortable driving in the UK and Europe.
• High level of initiative and looking for a long-term placement.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Visa-free passport for European travel.
