A family based in Kensington, London, with two daughters aged 9 and 2, is seeking an experienced, flexible and reliable Live-in Housekeeper / Weekend Nanny. The family already employs a full-time nanny from Monday to Friday who is responsible for the children and nursery duties.

The role will therefore focus primarily on housekeeping during the week, together with evening babysitting, proxy parenting and weekend childcare. The family can be flexible regarding how the weekday housekeeping hours are arranged, with the key requirement being flexibility for evening babysitting, proxy parenting and weekend childcare.

Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly cleaning the family’s five-storey home approximately twice per week.
  • Managing the parents’ laundry and ironing.
  • Keeping the kitchen organised and well managed.
  • Providing babysitting during the week.
  • Providing proxy parenting when the parents are working late or travelling.
  • Caring for and helping with the children at weekends.
