Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker Rotherham | Full Time | Immediate Start Available
Due to continued growth and increased demand from our new manufacturing facility, Ideal Home Improvements is looking for an experienced Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker to join our expanding workshop team. We manufacture high-quality bespoke furniture for kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and media walls, supplying both our own installation teams and trade customers throughout Yorkshire. This is a hands-on workshop role where quality always comes before quantity.
The Role
You'll be manufacturing bespoke furniture using modern woodworking machinery and traditional bench joinery skills, producing work to the high standards our customers expect.
Typical duties include:
- Manufacturing bespoke kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and media wall furniture
- Reading technical drawings and producing work accurately
- Operating sliding panel saws, edgebanders and other woodworking machinery
- Cabinet assembly and fitting furniture components
- Quality checking your own work before it leaves the factory
- Assisting with deliveries when required
- Occasionally supporting our installation teams on site
- Working as part of a friendly, skilled manufacturing team
We're Looking For Someone Who...
- Has previous bench joinery or cabinet making experience
- Can confidently operate sliding panel saws, edgebanders and similar machinery
- Can confidently read technical drawings
- Takes pride in producing high-quality work
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Is reliable, hardworking and self‑motivated
- Works well both independently and as part of a team
- Holds a full UK driving licence
- Experience with kitchens or fitted furniture would be an advantage but isn't essential for the right person

Pay: £30,000.00-£32,225.00 per year
