Ideal Health is looking to build a network of experienced Local Government Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support a range of advisory and consultancy opportunities in the digital transformation space.

This isn't a full-time contract.

We're looking for experienced professionals who can provide expert insight to support early-stage projects, client discussions, pre-sales activities, and future transformation programmes.

What You'll Be Supporting

You may be involved in

  • Providing strategic advice on Local Government services, digital systems and transformation.
  • Supporting pre-sales activities, bids, and client workshops.
  • Advising on service improvement, operating models, and best practice.
  • Sharing expertise on Local Authority processes, governance and service delivery.
  • Supporting future digital transformation consultancy engagements as opportunities arise.
  • Background

You'll have significant experience working within or alongside Local Government organisations in a senior operational, programme, consultancy, or leadership role, and be confident providing strategic advice to clients and project teams.

Engagement & Payment

Work will be on an ad hoc basis and will vary depending on client demand, from advisory discussions and workshops through to supporting larger transformation programmes.

Payment will be agreed based on the scope of each engagement and is expected to be on either a daily or hourly rate, with assignments typically outside IR35.
