Nature of the job role: A forty-two-year-old male seeks support from someone with previous experience to attend activities of his choosing including LGBTQ events, late night club attendances, concerts, cinema, theatre, shopping, gym and football. To offer general support on outings with friends when requested.
Main Duties: To assist in the activities stated above and where possible to support the employer to identify new areas of interest. The employer will be open to suggestions. It is preferable that the applicant have an outgoing fun personality with an ability to communicate with others on all levels, enabling the employer to gain confidence in social situations.
Personal Care: To support the Employer to dress for an activity including changing trousers, shirt and shoes. Support with Radar key and receiving personal items from backpack as directed by employer, alongside any other reasonable duties that may be necessary.
Hours of work: 10 Hours Per Week. Working hours may be variable, possibly unsociable hours, but always be agreed in advance.
Skills & Experience: It is preferable that the applicants for this role be flexible and have previous experience of supporting individuals with a disability.
