Location: Tamworth, Staffordshire
Rate of Pay: £12.50/hr
Nature of the job role: Working as part of a team. To assist with a variety of tasks which will support the employer to live an independent personal and social life. The employer has dogs, so the applicant would need to be a dog lover.
Main Duties:
- Personal duties: Washing, dressing.
- Domestic duties: Washing, ironing clothes and bed linen. Keeping my rooms clean and tidy. Preparing food and drinks.
- Social Duties: These duties may vary from day to day, but may include support with appointments to Doctor’s, Dentist and Hospital. Also for accessing the community.
Hours of work: Up to 16.75 per week plus 3.5 for accessing the community.
Qualifications: No formal qualifications required but Health and Social Care, Moving and Handling of People would be beneficial.
Skills & Experience: Applicants who have experience of administering medication and are able to deliver a high level of care would be preferred. The applicant needs to be a car driver with a full UK driver’s licence as will need to drive the employer’s motability vehicle.
