Location: Walsall, WS1
Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour
Nature of the job role: To support the employer with social interaction and accessing the community.
Main Duties:
- Personal duties: Minimal, may need some support with personal care, the employer can self-transfer.
- Domestic duties: Minimal
- Social Duties: To support the employer with social interaction, accessing the community and to support with promoting well-being. To support the employer to maintain his Sikh religion and culture. When going out, the employer uses a wheelchair.
Hours of work: 15 hours per week, likely to be over 3 days at 5 hours each day preferably on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Qualifications: Nothing specific required, the ability to speak Punjabi, English and use Makaton would be preferable.
Skills & Experience: Understanding how to support someone with cerebral palsy. Full UK driving licence required and have use of a car. The employer does have a Motability car, but the driver must be over 25 years old for insurance purposes.
