Rate of Pay: £12.00
Nature of the job role: Look after a Child with Autism
Main Duties:
- Take child out and support for activities e.g. soft play, farm, playground, cinema
- Look after child at home, keep child safe out and about in the community and sometimes at home
Personal duties:
- Encourage and help with hygiene e.g. washing hands
- No other personal care required
Domestic duties:
- Heat food up, prepare light meals e.g. noodles
Social Duties:
- Take child out to various activities in the community
- Weekends, School Holidays and evenings when required
Hours of work: 5 hours per week, although hours could vary depending on activity.
Qualifications: Skills & Experience:
- Applicants who have experience in looking after kids with special needs such as autism
- Experience in a special school (SEN) settings
- Applicant needs to be a car driver with use of own vehicle
- Mileage will be paid at £0.45 per mile
