Hours of work: 8 hrs per week over 2 days (4 hours per day Tuesday and Thursday)
Nature of the job role:
This role is for a Personal Assistant supporting SU to develop and maintain their day-to-day independence. The successful applicant will provide support with accessing the community, social and recreational activities.
The role would suit someone who is reliable, friendly, approachable and enjoys supporting others to live as independently as possible
Main Duties:
Support SU to access community and social activities.
Social Duties:
Support SU to access community and social activities; SU is a wheelchair user, successful applicant will need to be a car driver.
Qualifications: None specifically required, but NVQ 2 or higher in Adult Social Care would be beneficial.
DBS required. It is important to have a DBS check when working with children– this will be completed before starting work.
