Ideal Complex Care is a leading provider of complex care, offering support to people living in their own homes in the community, some independently and some with their family. We are looking to recruit a Senior Branch Nurse to manage the clinical aspects of the service across primarily East and West Sussex. Reporting to the Operational Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing case management for complex care clients, including auditing care plans and risk assessments and reviews.
  • Ensuring that clinical policies, procedure and forms are fit for purpose.
  • Support and supervision of Nurse Supervisors.
  • Preparing reports for and participating in the monthly Clinical Governance meetings.
  • Participating in discharge meetings, care reviews and liaison with health professionals.
  • Participating in on-call escalation rota.
  • Seeking new and appropriate services.
  • Networking with professional colleagues to promote best practice and service standards.

Qualifications

  • An active PIN.
  • Understanding of community‑based nursing / case management.
  • Understanding of CQC requirements for TDDI registrations.
  • Strong clinical skills.
  • Disciplined with a strong work ethos.
  • Team player, with good leadership skills.
  • Full, current driving licence and use of own car.
  • Must be based in East Sussex and be prepared to travel extensively in the area.
