Overview

Ideal Climate are a successful and skilful installer of residential air conditioning heat pump systems into peoples homes, whether this be home offices, bedrooms, lounges or alike. We specialise in the installation of air-to-air heat pump systems, not water based systems that serve underfloor heating etc.

Role Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated air conditioning and heat pump engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a good mechanical knowledge and have experience in air conditioning heat pump systems, maintenance, and equipment repair, although the role is predominantly installation biased. This role involves working within peoples homes and building sites on various projects throughout Essex and the Home Counties.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems in residential settings, although the role is mainly installation biased.
  • A new company vehicle will be allocated to the role and is to be kept in good order and well stocked at all times.
  • The engineer will have their own trainee to support them in the role where we expect them to be trained accordingly.
  • You are expected to be punctual and work between 40 & 50 hours every week, excluding holidays and bank holidays. Overtime is paid for hours over and above your normal working week.

Skills

  • Good mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems and components, in particular air conditioning heat pump systems.
  • Experience in installing air conditioning heat pump systems, mainly split style systems from manufacturers such as Daikin, Mitsubishi and all other marketing leading brands.
  • Good understanding of maintenance practices as off season maintenance works are required as are occasional repairs.
  • Being polite, friendly and respectful is an important part of the role as you will be working within peoples homes.

The salary indicated will vary to suit experience and performance in the field. Whilst training will be given to those who need it, we are looking for individuals who are able to hit the ground running and already have installation experience in this sector.

Pay: £35,500.00-£46,800.00 per year
