We have an exciting opportunity to join our forward-thinking central marketing team, working at the intersection of community engagement, content creation, and AI-driven search. As a Community & Content Specialist, you will play a key role in building brand credibility across industry platforms, creating high-impact content, and engaging authentically with professional communities. You will help position the organisation as a trusted authority while contributing directly to visibility, reputation, and lead generation.

Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality, SEO and GEO-optimised content including blog posts, FAQs, how-to guides and competitor comparisons that position Ideagen as an authoritative source in AI search results.
  • Use performance data to inform content decisions, identifying what topics, formats and angles are driving organic and AI visibility.
  • Identify opportunities and create content across external platforms including Reddit, Quora, LinkedIn groups, G2 and industry forums.
  • Monitor, manage and respond to content and engagement across these platforms, tracking how activity, user-generated content and review sentiment is influencing organic performance and AI citation rates.
  • Produce regular performance reports using tools including Profound, translating data into clear insights and actionable next steps.
  • Collaborate with the SEO and GEO Manager and wider marketing team to ensure content and platform activity aligns with organic growth objectives.

Skills and Experience:

  • Solid SEO foundations, understanding how content earns visibility in search.
  • Understanding of GEO and AI search, knowing how AI engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude decide what to cite.
  • Proven content creation experience with a strong portfolio of written work across formats and evidence of performance impact.
  • Data-driven approach to content, comfortable using analytics to identify opportunities, measure impact and inform what to do next.
  • Experience using external platforms such as Reddit, Quora, LinkedIn groups or review sites strategically.
  • Strong writing ability across formats and tones, authoritative for long-form content, natural and helpful for community platforms.
  • Analytical and self-directed, able to identify priorities, build a plan and execute without needing a brief for every task.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Google Search Console, GA4 or similar is advantageous.
