We’re on the hunt for a storyteller, media wrangler and audience-obsessed communicator. You’ll be at the beating heart of PR campaigns that spark conversations and put our clients at the centre of culture and the media agenda. This role isn’t just about press releases; it’s about crafting unique and original news angles, identifying opportunities to hijack the news agenda and finding creative ways to write stories that cut through the noise and get a journalist's attention. Whether that’s in the headlines, or on TikTok and Reddit.

What you'll be doing:

  • Trend Hunting
    Be on top of the hottest trends, talking points, cultural moments across TikTok, Instagram, Reddit and the media. Predict the future, look at what’s coming down the line in the media and how we can leverage the agenda for clients. Be proactive in sharing the hottest trends and opportunities with the internal team and our clients.
  • Media Relations
    Turn trends into ideas and angles for our clients, proactively pitching stories, securing coverage, and managing press opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and media outlets across multiple sectors (consumer, tech, business, lifestyle, relationships).
  • Content Creation
    Work at pace to draft unique and original press releases in our clients' TOV, media pitches, thought leadership articles, and social media content. Ensure all written materials meet editorial standards and align with client messaging. Source experts, stats, or social media reaction to supercharge ideas and angles for media.
  • Brainstorms and creativity
    Idea Farm is an ideas machine, so you’ll be feeding client briefs, attending brainstorms, helping develop ideas with that social trends led eye. Research, insight, and your work as a trend expert will help drive ideas and fuel content for client pitches. We are experts in trends and culture so you’ll be bringing this to the table for brainstorms and creative sessions with clients. Help get under the skin of client briefs, working closely with the creative team to shape ideas.
  • Campaign Management
    Each month we’re pulling off new ideas and campaigns for clients - you’ll be at the heartbeat of delivering the work for clients - from shaping the idea, to creating the content and supporting on the media sell-ins. Attend video and photo shoots, events, helping steer content capture to ensure final assets will fuel our earned media angle. Help track, measure, and report on campaign performance and media coverage.
  • Team Collaboration
    Keep collaborating with the team to ensure the best outcomes for our clients.
