User Education and Enablement Manager will lead the development and scaling of IDBSâs customer, associate, and partner education and certification programmes. The role will design impactful learning experiences that drive product adoption, customer success, and partner enablement across the Polar Platform, ensuring bestâpractice use of IDBS products by internal and external users and developers. This position reports to the Head of Alliances and is based out of the IDBS head office in Woking, UK.
We are looking for a strategic and handsâon Learning & Development Leader that can partner with crossâfunctional teams to design, implement and scale learning programs at IDBS.
In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To:
- Strategy and Program Leadership: Lead a scalable, business aligned education strategy that builds capability and accelerates adoption for all platform users through targeted learning paths. Champion a learning culture at IDBS and seek to enhance offerings by implementing innovative techniques, technologies and learning methods.
- Content Development and Delivery: Own the creation and delivery of high-quality, engaging learning content across multiple formats (eLearning, instructorâled, virtual and community), using modern, interactive methods to promote bestâpractice and effective use of IDBS products globally.
- Learning Platform and Technology: Lead the strategy, selection and integration of learning platforms and technologies to support scalable, connected education delivery across IDBS. Review IDBSâ current learning assets and platforms and build a plan for a phased development and expansion of resources that complement the learning and education strategy and enhance user enablement and adoption of the software platform.
- CrossâFunctional Collaboration: Drive strong crossâfunctional collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure learning offerings remain current, marketâaligned and directly support business and customer outcomes.
- Measurement & Optimisation: Define and track learning KPIs to measure program effectiveness. Implement processes and feedback mechanisms that assess ongoing trainee capability, development and quality of learning and content delivery.
The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include:
- Proven experience in L&D leadership and delivery, ideally within a regulated scientific, technology or software development domain.
- Experience in technical training and education.
- Strong instructional design and content strategy skills.
- Experience with LMS platforms and digital learning tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements if applicable for role:
- Ability to travel 15%.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Coaching certification or relevant credentials.
- Experience working with technical or scientific audiences (e.g. scientists, lab technicians, developers, IT professionals).
- Familiarity with certification programs and credentialing.
- Experience in change management practices.
- Background in productâled growth or developer relations.
