We are currently seeking an Account Manager to join our EU Sales Team. As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for leading and delivering sales strategy execution in the region.
What we’ll get you doing:
- Assume territorial and account management responsibilities and develop regional prospect pipelines for accounts in the region, representing both assigned biopharma and biotech accounts.
- Expand commercial relationships with existing clients for both existing and new offerings from IDBS.
- Own the development and execution of account plans for target accounts. Develop and progress new pipeline within the territory to achieve regional and personal targets.
- Effectively promote and educate targeted accounts on the challenges the industry is facing and how IDBS provides solutions to positively impact their business through effective one-on-one meetings, group presentations, and company-approved industry conferences, etc.
- Ensure solid performance levels of call and field productivity. Achieve regional sales goals while adhering to all defined ethical sales practices, compliance guidelines and required promotional regulations.
Here is what success in this role looks like:
- Typically has 3+ years of experience in SaaS Sales and can navigate a 12–18-month sales cycle
- Willingness to travel (25-50%)
- Accustomed to dealing with complex deals and multiple stakeholders including VP and C-Level decision makers
- Experience with a sales methodology, Challenger Sale preferred
- Scientific and Scientific Sales background; Life science sales preferred
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- R&D, process development and manufacturing within the biopharma products/industry
- Fluency in any of the following languages: Italian, Spanish, French
