About the Role
- Provide specialist support to victims and families navigating the family court system.
- Complete risk and needs assessments, safety planning, and develop personalised support plans.
- Support clients through criminal and civil justice processes, ensuring access to special measures and legal advice.
- Liaise with agencies including Cafcass, police, CPS, housing, and legal services to advocate for clients.
- Refer high-risk clients to MARAC and represent them at multi-agency meetings.
- Deliver emotional support, self-esteem workshops, and practical advice to help clients rebuild independence.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to the IDAS helpline on a rota basis.
- Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion by ensuring services are accessible and responsive to the needs of all communities, including those who are underrepresented or marginalised.
