IDAS (Independent Domestic Abuse Services) is the leading specialist domestic abuse charity in the Yorkshire region. We are looking for dedicated, courageous, and compassionate people to join our inspiring and inclusive team. Are you passionate about keeping people safe from abuse and violence? We are currently looking to recruit a family court IDVA within the Barnsley team. The family court IDVA will support victims and survivors through the family court process and act as an advocate with other services. The family court IDVA would also be responsible for multi-agency working and providing training to other partners who are involved in the family court process such as solicitors, court staff, magistrates, and CAFCASS.

We have other family court IDVAs across the organisation and the successful candidate would be responsible for working alongside those colleagues to ensure we are offering a consistent and quality service. They will also be responsible for ensuring reports and data to support the role are accurate.

Starting Salary: £27,711

Contract: Fixed term for 12 months.

Location: Goldthorpe, Barnsley.
