About the Role

In this role, you will:

  • Provide end‑to‑end support for individuals and families in emergency dispersed accommodation.
  • Complete risk assessments and safety plans to reduce harm and promote wellbeing.
  • Welcome clients into accommodation and ensure their immediate needs are met.
  • Liaise with agencies such as housing, health, social services, and legal professionals to advocate for clients, referring high‑risk clients to MARAC and represent them where appropriate.
  • Make referrals to internal and external services, including refuge and counselling.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to the IDAS helpline on a rota basis.
  • Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion by ensuring services are accessible and responsive to the needs of all communities, including those who are underrepresented or marginalised.
