Previous private medical secretary background is a pre-requisite. The Role

As Medical Secretary, you will provide comprehensive support to leading Consultants, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of their practice. Responsibilities include:

  • Complex diary management and meticulous scheduling of consultations and procedures
  • Coordinating multiple and complex private patient appointments and clinical teams
  • Preparing medical correspondence and detailed reports with accuracy and discretion
  • Managing confidential patient records in line with compliance standards
  • Handling sensitive enquiries with professionalism and warmth
  • Processing invoices and payments confidentially
  • Supporting the wider administrative function to ensure a seamless patient journey

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience as a Medical Secretary within private healthcare
  • A background within five-star hospitality, private members’ clubs, luxury concierge or similarly high-end, client-facing environments (highly desirable)
  • Impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional organisational ability and attention to detail
  • Absolute discretion and confidence working with high-profile and high-net-worth individuals

Package

  • Salary: Up to £33,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
  • Hours: Shifts: 8.00am-5.00pm, 9.00am-6.00pm, 10.00am-7.00pm (with flexibility required in case of emergencies)
