An award-winning design-based architecture studio is looking for an experienced administrator to assist in the smooth and efficient running of the office. This requirement is expected to be on a rolling monthly contract for up to 12 months commencing in early March. This is a part-time, Monday to Thursday position based in their offices in Islington. Salary is c£35K pro rata. Hours: 9:00-5:30pm, with some flexibility needed.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong administrative experience, preferably within the creative environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are imperative, as well as exceptional organisational and time management skills. A proficiency in MS Office is required, and experience in SharePoint and InDesign is desirable.

Joining a small admin team, they are looking for flexibility, as well as a proactive and solution-based attitude. A wonderful opportunity to use your skills and experience within this collaborative and friendly team. Assisting the Studio Manager, your responsibilities are varied and include:

  • Providing support with travel research, bookings, and preparation of itineraries
  • Supporting with calendar management during periods of high workloads
  • Collating and managing Directors’ expenses, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
  • Administering and maintaining Directors’ timesheets
  • Covering for Front of House when required, delivering a welcoming first point of contact for visitors
  • Providing administrative support in relation to ISO9001 and ISO14001 processes, assisting with documentation and compliance requirements
  • Supporting the collation of carbon footprint data
  • Supporting the upkeep of the SharePoint intranet system
