Job Description
ID-ware UK is an IT & Security services provider that specialises in supporting Government Departments, Agencies, and CNI. We deliver innovative, secure, and highly scalable cloud-first solutions to resolve business challenges along with the wider ID-ware Group who are a leading provider of advanced identity management solutions, committed to shaping the future of secure digital interactions.
Position Overview
The Client Solutions Specialist will provide technical delivery and support to the company’s clients on a hybrid working basis with travel to client’s sites where required as well as attending the company office based in London. This individual will work closely with the Client Solutions Lead and wider team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical acumen, experience working within Central Government or CNI environments and familiarity with Windows Server environments. Experience with administering large data sets are a bonus.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend client sites where required to supervise and carry out commissioning activities for our services & solutions.
- Work on multiple access control system designs and deployments, supporting user data migration activities, deployment of site encryption keys and ensuring compliance to predefined standards.
- Support the Client Solutions Lead in their activities overseeing and, where required, carrying out smartcard personalisation and encoding activities.
- Manage and process large client data sets accurately and efficiently whilst providing detailed reports and feedback to relevant stakeholders.
- Facilitate smartcard production activities where required.
- Provide detailed reports on infrastructure changes, service outage or performance degradation.
- Assist in client technical discussions, proposals, and the documentation of solution designs.
- Communicating with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
- Support with other company or group company activities as required.
- Undergo and maintain UK Security Vetting at the level of Security Check (SC) with the potential for Developed Vetting (DV) in the future.
Required Skills

- Must be a UK resident for at least 5 years.
Desirable Skills
- Access Control Systems Configuration: While not essential, experience in configuring physical access control systems is advantageous.
Hiring Process
The hiring process for this role is 3-4 stages: First stage is an interview with a member of the HR department. Second stage is a technical interview with the Client Solutions Lead and HR. Final stage is an interview with the Technical Architect and Head of UK Business Development.
