We are looking for a Forklift driver to join our client in North Walsham on a Temp to Perm basis working four days a week in their cold store on a rotating pattern of one week days and one week nights with overtime available.
Rates & Shift times:
- Day shifts: Starting at £13.65 – 0700-19:00
- Night shifts: Starting at £14.15 – 19:00 – 07:00
This is a Temporary to Permanent Job, 12 weeks on agency and after that full time.
Duties:
- Operate forklifts to load and unload materials and products
- Transport materials and products to designated areas in the warehouse or production facility & Coldstore
- Stack and organize materials and products in an efficient and safe manner
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and meet production goals
Experience:
- Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or production setting
- Ability to safely manoeuvre heavy loads in tight spaces
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Experience of working in a cold storage environment
