Our client is seeking a Service Technician to join their growing team. They are a well-established and leading manufacturer within the medical products sector, with an impressive track record of sustained growth through both organic expansion and strategic acquisitions.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Maintain and service medical equipment based on site at 2 local hospitals, ensuring high standards of care and customer satisfaction.
  • Service, repair and clean our clients and competitor products.
  • Plan daily tasks for maximum efficiency.
  • Carry out unplanned and PPM repairs.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Handle equipment safely and follow health & safety protocols.
  • Maintain van stock and complete accurate paperwork.
  • Support additional duties as required by management.
  • Participate in the on-call rota.

  • Training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Manual handling and driving skills.
  • Emotional resilience when working with vulnerable customers.
  • Knowledge of medical equipment such as profiling beds and hoists.
  • Understanding of infection control and inventory management.
