We have a new opportunity for a Support Worker in Salisbury.

Here are the key details to consider for this role:

  • Contract date: ASAP – Ongoing
  • Shift: 5 hours per day between Monday – Sunday
  • Pay Rate: up to £20 per hour
  • Duties: Supporting a young service user in the community by promoting and supporting independence. Yu will assist with daily activities such as the below alongside day to day trips to various centres including assisting with swimming, cinema trips, shopping, meals out etc.Daily Living and Personal Care:
    • Assisting with personal care tasks like showering, dressing, and grooming.
    • Supporting with meal preparation and eating.
    • Managing medications and ensuring clients take prescribed drugs.
    • Helping with housekeeping and other household tasks.

    Social and Emotional Support:

    • Providing companionship and fostering positive social interactions.
    • Supporting clients to participate in community activities and outings.
    • Offering emotional support and encouragement.

    Community Engagement:

    • Assisting clients with transportation and access to appointments.
    • Supporting clients with shopping and accessing essential services.
    • Helping clients to develop and maintain relationships within their community.

Experience: Previous experience as a Support Worker preferably with learning disabilities experience. Medication training will be preferred but not essential.
