Occupational Therapists with ADOS experience required to deliver Autism Assessments.

Hours: 08:30 – 18:30

Schedule: Flexible, work around your current commitments with available clinics running Monday – Saturday (on-site)

Locations: Eastbourne and Bexhill-on-sea

Dates: until 31 March 2026 initially

Cohort: School age children aged 5–11 years

Pay: Up to £1000 LTD per day (£250 LTD per completed assessment, outside IR35, typically x4 assessments booked per day)

Role Overview:

  • OT’s to support ADOS-2 autism diagnostic clinics run by Pediatricians, Psychiatrists and Psychologists
  • Work face-to-face with the child to carry out an ADOS-2 assessment (which is a structured play-based observation) and produce high quality, timely reports via SystemOne
  • Join multidisciplinary team (MDT) meeting afterwards to help decide the diagnosis and give feedback to the family

What’s Included in Each Assessment:

  • Carry out and score an ADOS-2 assessment (using the right module for the child’s age/ability)
  • Record clear behavioral observations during the session
  • Be alert to any clinical or safeguarding risks during assessments and raise these promptly if needed
  • Share findings in the MDT meeting
  • Support the lead clinician during same-day feedback to parents
  • Add a short written contribution about the ADOS results to the final diagnostic report (completed within 6 weeks)
  • Make sure all notes and paperwork are completed clearly and to the required standards

  • Must be ADOS or ADI-R trained and experienced and hold certification
  • Full compliance
