Intensive Support Team – Complex Care Support Worker (Midlands)
Location: West Midlands (up to 80-mile radius from Birmingham/Stafford)
Job Type: Full-Time, rota-based (4 days on/3 days off), includes days, waking nights, and sleep-in shifts
Salary: Paid hourly, competitive (contact-based time only), plus all travel/accommodation costs covered
We’re building a new Intensive Support Team to support mobilisation of complex care packages across the Midlands for clients with brain injuries, spinal injuries, learning disabilities, and mental health needs.
Key responsibilities:
- Delivering personal care and mobility support
- Managing medication and bowel/bladder care
- Monitoring skin integrity and repositioning for pressure relief
- Assisting with CPAP/BiPAP and non-invasive respiratory needs
- Completing detailed care records and clinical reporting
- Working independently and flexibly across various locations
What we’re looking for:
- Experience with complex care and behavioural needs
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight as required
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care – desirable
- Female applicants only (due to nature of support required)
